Welcome to the Foundation Stage! In Reception, our indoor and outdoor classrooms are full of exciting learning experiences every day.
As children play, the principles of objective-led planning enable them to make progress and take next steps in learning as they enjoy all experiences. Sharing Learning mats provide a clear overview of specific vocabulary and resources that will be introduced during the term.

Children learn through play and have a wealth of opportunities, both indoor and outdoor, to develop and grow.
Superhero Writers - Foundation Stage
Each year, parents and carers are invited into school to share workshops in reading, writing and maths. We enjoy opportunities to share learning so that children are well supported.
Squiggle while you wiggle!
'Squiggle While You Wiggle' uses dance and large movements to help children develop the fine muscle control they need for writing. New gross motor movements are linked to pieces of music. These movements are then used to make marks in many creative ways. Children use these actions to form letters.
