Discovering interests and developing talents
Our clubs are a valued part of our enrichment offer, giving children opportunities to discover interests, develop talents and build friendships. Through sporting, creative, musical and practical activities, children can experience success in different ways and grow in confidence. We celebrate participation and commitment alongside achievement, and work to remove barriers so that children can benefit from these experiences.
Meaningful experiences with a clear purpose
Our clubs reflect the principles that shape our wider curriculum, with memorable experiences and authentic outcomes giving learning a clear purpose. Each club provides opportunities to develop skills through engaging activities and work towards something meaningful, such as a performance, sporting event, finished creation or contribution to school life. Sharing and applying their learning helps children recognise their progress and take pride in what they achieve. These experiences connect learning with real situations, showing children how their interests and efforts can lead to worthwhile outcomes.
Our current clubs offer
Before School Clubs
Children should arrive at 8.15 am in their PE kit and change into their uniform after club.
After School Clubs
After school clubs finish at 4.20 pm. Children attending sports/dance based clubs will come home in their PE kit. Please collect children from the main entrance
Dodgeball
Thursday PM for Years 4-6
Children develop throwing, catching and dodging skills while practising teamwork, strategy and fair play.

A staff v children match in the final week!
Authentic outcome
Some of our Y6 children will represent the school in the regional dodegball finals in Doncaster in December.
STEM Superstars
Monday PM for Years 4-6
Children explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics through practical investigations, creative challenges and problem-solving.

Morning Maths
Tuesday - Fridays mornings for Years 6
Morning Maths Club gives children the chance to challenge themselves, build confidence and get support with their maths in a friendly, encouraging environment.

Netball
For Years 4-6
Children develop passing, shooting and footwork skills while building confidence, teamwork and sportsmanship through practice and match play.

A visit to Loughborough later in the year to watch Loughborough Lightning play!

Some of our Y5/6 children will represent the school in the local netball league starting in February.

Children celebrate their individuality by designing and creating jewellery and fashion accessories that express their unique style.

Children develop their singing skills and confidence as they rehearse together for a large-scale Young Voices performance.
